Set in cottage country near the town of Rimbey, Gull Lake is a popular executive par three golf course capable of delivering a high level of challenge for golfers of all abilities. Because of its location on the beautiful northwest side of the lake, golfers are presented with spectacular views from just about every hole. Usually playable in 1 1/2 hours, this course is ideal for golfers seeking a quick game. It's holes range from 120 to 213 yards in length, and the greens tend to be small and rolling. An ability to hit long, accurate irons is a necessity to score well on this course.

Gull Lake's most challenging hole is the 175 yard 9th. Golfers play out of a chute guarded on both sides by trees uphill to a green well defended to the front and sides by a quartet of bunkers. Other challenging holes are the 7th and 8th, both of which have water in play thanks to a shared water hazard. Of the two, 7th is likely the more tricky with the water hazard lying dangerously in wait to the left and back of the green.
