Conway's Life
| Cellular automata is a series of elements or "cells" which interact with one another. each cell has a reference of commands or actions, and a preset list of rules for when to use each of them. all of the cells then react with one another in a similar manner to which cells in a real biological system do, even though real cells are phenominally more complex than computer generated cells. An example of cellular automata would be Conway's Life. In this simulation, each cell has the same simple set of directions, and from it, patterns and systems emerge mimicing nature. |
